Taking Ground...
We were please to have our first meetings in our new building last month... We have been running meetings and events in Šaľa for almost three years now. We have used several different venues in that time. Since we have been doing regular church meetings, which is just over a year now, we have been meeting in a room rented for the towns Centre of Free Time. The room has been good to start in and we were very grateful for it. However we have hit a number of problems such as not being able to rent the room through holiday periods and the simple matter of carrying all of the equipment from our home to the centre several times a week.
We had been looking for a new place for some time now as we believe that it is important for the work that God has called us to do here. We had looked at numerous premises but they were all too expensive. We were thrilled when, last month, we came across this building which is a former flower shop. The size, shape and location of the building is perfect for our ministry into the town. We have instantly been able to expand our outreach into the community. We have already conducted several meetings in the new building and are extremely grateful for it.
We know that a number of you have been praying about the building situation and so I just want to take this opportunity to thank you. Your prayers have made a difference.
